Christmas golf

Managed to get three rounds of golf in four days of my Christmas vacation in sunny San Diego.

An all purpose bench

Another photo from the Thanksgiving trip to Chicago. If taken today, this would show a winter wonderland under a foot +/- of snow. Still waiting for our first snowfall out here; maybe soon.

Always liked tuna on the grill; the eggplant is a newly acquired taste.

Saw him land atop a pine tree east of Bayfield. Call him the Pine hawk.

Go-Go White Sox

It's been a long time coming. Chicago White Sox are World Series Champions. You can take the kid out of the South-side, but you can't take the White Sox out of the kid.

A trip through Boulder

On a weekend in Denver, we headed northwest for a daytrip to Estes Park. On the way, we stopped for a quick stroll through downtown Boulder. Here's the movie theater.

I stand corrected

Ok, so it's not a mosquito. I'm told the bug captured in the martini photo is actually a Crane fly. I thought it was a little big to be a mosquito.
