Rain Delay at Coors Field

 

On the last night of August, we attended the Rockies vs. Baltimore Orioles baseball game at Coors Field. While clouds threatened rain from the first pitch, they burst after the fifth inning and resulted in a delay of an hour and a half. We gave up after 45 minutes and hoofed to Union Station to board an RTD train for the ride home. When play resumed, the game went into extra innings and ended with a web gem, over-the-fence catch by Orioles centerfielder Colton Cowser robbing Rockies Jake McCarthy of a game-winning home run.
